Separate Your Money!

When we’re going to travel to other country with different currency, i suggest you to separate your money based on the currencies. Not only sort by currencies but also separating it in different places. On Ergonomics point of view, it will prevent any human error that caused by confusion, habit, or forgetfulness about the new currencies.

Based on my silly experience, i put my $US with Rand (South African currency) in the same wallet. There is a partition in my wallet, so i sort my money and put it in those room separated by partition. In this case, i am not familiar with both of those currencies ($US and Rand).

It was in George Airport, i was waiting for my flight to Johannesburg when i decided to buy some snacks in the nearest convenience store inside those airport. After i got what i want, snacks, i brought it to the counter. I paid it, automatically took out money from my wallet, without knowing what currency it was, the only thing in my mind was 100 (i thought it was Rand but i was wrong). I didn’t realize it until i reached Johannesburg.

why couldnt i recognize the difference of those two faces directly?

I didn’t mean to disrespect you sir Benyamin Franklin, i know that you’re different to that bull’s face. And i didn’t mean to disrespect you either sir one-of-the-big-five bull. :-P

When we’re in a hurry, sometimes we don’t think twice about what we do. To anticipate those situation, i suggest you to separate your money in two or more different places. Another advantage when we have two different places for our money is we still have another wallet if theft occurs in one of our wallet.

Stay on Guard and have a fun trip :D
